Why You Will Love This Smoothie
- Sugar-Free and Dairy-Free
- Only Four Ingredients
- Perfect For Breakfast or Snack
- Refreshing and Tropical
- Healthy, Filling, and Delicious
Ingredients
- Strawberries: Use fresh and sweeter strawberries for the smoothie. They are perfect for smoothies and provide a fruity taste to them.
- Mangoes: Mangoes make smoothies creamy and naturally sweet. Use your favorite variety of mangoes, but they should be ripe, juicy, and sweet.
- Non-Dairy Milk: Cashew milk is my favorite for making dairy-free smoothies. But feel free to add your choice of non-dairy milk to this shake. Almond milk or coconut milk is the other best options.
- Oats: Oats add nutritional value and make the smoothie thick and creamy. I have added rolled oats, but you can also add quick oats to the smoothie. However, you can skip adding oats if you want.
How To Make This Smoothie
Making With Fresh Fruits
- If using fresh fruits, place mango cubes and strawberry slices on the plate or tray in a single layer. Then freeze them for at least 30 minutes to an hour.
- When ready to make the smoothie, remove the fruits from the freezer and place them in the blender.
- To this, add oats and non-dairy milk.
- If you do not want to freeze the fruits, add some ice cubes to the blender with other ingredients.
- Blend everything until well combined, smooth and creamy.
- Serve the chilled strawberry mango smoothie immediately.
- Strawberry Mango Smoothie with fresh fruits will be thinner. So making it thick and frosty, it is essential to freeze the fruits or add ice cubes.
Making With Frozen Fruits
- If using frozen fruits, place them in the blender.
- To this, add oats and non-dairy milk.
- Blend everything until well combined, smooth and creamy.
- Serve the chilled strawberry mango smoothie immediately.
Variations
- Banana: Adding a frozen banana will make the smoothie creamier and thicker. It will also balance the sweetness if strawberries or mangos are sour.
- Yogurt: It makes the smoothie protein-packed and creamy. Add non-dairy yogurt, Greek yogurt, or vanilla yogurt.
- Baby Spinach: Adding a handful of spinach will make the smoothie nutritious, and healthier.
- Orange Juice: Add ¼ cup of fresh orange juice to make it more tempting. If you decide to add orange juice, reduce the amount of non-dairy milk.
- Protein Powder: Add a scoop of vanilla protein powder to make it thick and protein-packed.
- Avocado: Add some avocado chunks to make the smoothie extra creamy and thick.
