Ingredients and Notes
- Strawberries: Strawberries are rich in vitamin C and very low in calories. In this Strawberry Coconut Smoothie, we can use either fresh or frozen strawberries. If needed, add more strawberries because more strawberries mean more deliciousness. If you choose to add fresh strawberries, add a handful of ice cubes to the blender.
- Bananas: Bananas are high in antioxidants and are a good source of Vitamin C, Potassium, and Magnesium. I added frozen ripe bananas to this smoothie, which naturally sweetened the smoothie and provided additional nutritional benefits. However, you can add fresh banana or skip it if you want.
- Coconut Milk: I used canned and organic coconut milk. But feel free to use your favorite coconut milk, fresh or canned.
- Chia Seeds: Chia seeds are considered a superfood. They are high in fiber, protein, vitamins, and minerals. I love to throw these tiny seeds into my smoothies. If you do not have them in your pantry, you can skip them. Instead of chia seeds, use nuts or even hemp seeds.
- Vanilla: It provides a sweet flavor to the smoothie.

Frequently Asked Questions
If you have leftover Strawberry Coconut Smoothie, place it in the fridge for a day. The smoothie will lose its frothiness, and coconut milk will settle down in the bottom. So, before serving, blend them again with some ice, and the smoothie will be foamy again. However, it is best served immediately after making.
You can use almond, cashew, or oat milk instead of coconut milk. However, the smoothie will not be as creamy as with coconut milk.
Yes! Add more fruits like blueberries or mangos for a fun spin to the drink.
I like to add bananas to make the smoothie naturally sweetened. However, you can skip bananas and add maple syrup or honey for sweetness. You do not need to add sweeteners if you like your smoothie without sweetness.
