Paneer Bhurji No Onion No Garlic / Easy Paneer Bhurji Recipe

Paneer Bhurji is a dish of scrambled Paneer, and it is delicious, melt in the mouth, and very easy to make.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon green chili paste (or as needed)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste or grated ginger
  • 3 large tomatoes finely chopped
  • 1 Green pepper finely chopped
  • 2 Cups freshly made chhena or scrambled Paneer
  • Salt to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 2 teaspoon Kashmiri red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala powder
  • ¼ teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon crushed Kasoori Methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
  • 2 tablespoon Finely chopped coriander for garnishing
  • 1 tablespoon cream (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a pan and add green chili and ginger paste, sauté for a minute.
  • Add chopped green pepper, mix well and cook until soft for about a minute.
  • Add chopped tomatoes, mix well and continue cooking until tomatoes are soft, pulpy, and mushy.
  • Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well, continue cooking until oil separates from the side and mixture is almost like a thick gravy.
  • Add chhena or scrambled Paneer, salt to taste, and sugar. Mix well until everything is well combined.
  • Add dried fenugreek leaves, chopped coriander, and mix well. Add a tablespoon of cream if you prefer to, and serve Paneer Bhurji hot with Roti, Paratha, Naan or spread it on a toast of bread.
