Instructions
Heat oil in a pan and add green chili and ginger paste, sauté for a minute.
Add chopped green pepper, mix well and cook until soft for about a minute.
Add chopped tomatoes, mix well and continue cooking until tomatoes are soft, pulpy, and mushy.
Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and garam masala powder. Mix well, continue cooking until oil separates from the side and mixture is almost like a thick gravy.
Add chhena or scrambled Paneer, salt to taste, and sugar. Mix well until everything is well combined.
Add dried fenugreek leaves, chopped coriander, and mix well. Add a tablespoon of cream if you prefer to, and serve Paneer Bhurji hot with Roti, Paratha, Naan or spread it on a toast of bread.
