Toast the bread slices until firm and golden brown. Set them aside.
Remove the pit from the avocado. Scoop out the flesh of avocado with a spoon and place in a bowl.
Add salt, freshly ground black pepper, and lemon juice.
Mash the avocado using a fork until it is smooth and everything is well combined. Then taste the mashed avocado and adjust the seasonings if needed.
Spread the mashed and seasoned avocado on top of your bread toasts.
Sprinkle some red pepper flakes and finely chopped coriander leaves.

Serve avocado toast immediately.

- Keep the mashed avocado to a smooth consistency or with some chunks, as you prefer.
