An all-time classic beverage, the Strawberry Banana Smoothie, is refreshing, delicious, and healthy. It is naturally sweetened with ripe bananas and nutritious with yogurt and optional chia seeds.

Strawberry Banana Smoothie is easy to make and requires only a few ingredients. It can be breakfast for a great start to the day, or we can enjoy it as a quick snack between meals. This smoothie is a good option for an after-school snack.
Healthy and Delicious Strawberry Banana Smoothie
This smoothie is definitely a spring and summer drink, but it is also good year-round. When you can not find fresh strawberries, use frozen berries to enjoy the smoothie.
Homemade smoothies are much better than store-bought. They are fresh and easy to make, and we can choose only the best quality fruits and other ingredients. Making smoothies at home means saving in your pocket and cutting down on unnecessary sugars.
This Strawberry Banana Smoothie is sugar-free and packed with protein, minerals, calcium, fiber, and healthy carbs. It is one of the good options for post-workout snacks.
I have added non-dairy milk to this smoothie, but if you do not have it, skip it. You can also add more or less yogurt to taste. Instead of chia seeds, you can also add other nuts of choice.

Ingredients and Notes
- Strawberries: Strawberries are rich in vitamin C and very low in calories. In this smoothie, we can use either fresh or frozen strawberries. Also, use more strawberries if needed because more strawberries means more deliciousness. If you choose to add frozen strawberries, do not add ice cubes.
- Bananas: Bananas are high in antioxidants and are a good source of Vitamin C, Potassium, and Magnesium. Use ripe bananas in this smoothie because we are not using any sugar, and the banana will be the only source of sweetness. Also, using bananas that are not ripe enough gives a sticky aftertaste to a smoothie; obviously, we do not want that to happen. If you have ripe frozen bananas, that will work, too.
- Yogurt: I would love to use vanilla yogurt in this smoothie, which provides a nice flavor. However, any yogurt of your choice will work. Use plain yogurt, Greek yogurt, or any choice of fruit yogurt.
- Non-Dairy Milk: I have used cashew milk, but feel free to use any type of non-dairy milk. If you like your smoothie thicker, you can skip adding milk. Also, if you do not have nondairy milk, skip it, and the smoothie will still be delicious.
- Chia Seeds: Chia seeds are considered a superfood. They are high in fiber, protein, vitamins, and minerals. I love to throw these tiny seeds into my smoothies. You can skip them if you do not have them in your pantry. Instead of chia seeds, use nuts or even hemp seeds.

Variations For the Strawberry Banana Smoothie
Make It Vegan: For a dairy-free strawberry banana smoothie, use non-dairy yogurt or skip it. If you do not add yogurt, add a cup of non-dairy milk instead. For an extra protein boost, add a scoop of vanilla protein powder.
Coconut Cream: Instead of yogurt and dairy-free milk, add coconut cream for a creamy, rich, and thick smoothie.
Oats: Add two to three tablespoon of rolled oats to make the smoothie creamier and healthier. It will also make the smoothie filling and satisfying for a long time.
Baby Spinach: Adding a handful of spinach will make the smoothie nutritious and healthier.
Avocado: Add some avocado chunks to make the smoothie extra creamy and thick. Also, it is good if you want a non-dairy smoothie; skip yogurt and add avocado.
Blueberries: Add a handful of blueberries if you like.
