No Yeast Bread / Bread Without Yeast is extremely easy and very convenient. This homemade bread is light and moist. However, it will not be as airy as the bread with yeast but it is not too dense as well. This bread is a quick fix for those who do not use yeast or simply want to avoid yeast. There is no rise in this recipe and so this goodie will be on the table within an hour.
No Yeast Bread / Bread Without Yeast:
There is no yeast used in this bread and hence we cannot expect it to be light, airy, and fluffy as yeast bread. But let me tell you, it is still delicious on its own. It is moist and a little on the denser side (but you will love this denseness). If you do not use yeast for any reason, this is the perfect bread for you.
After posting my White Sandwich Bread and Homemade French Bread I was requested for bread without yeast. I thought I might need to do a few trials and errors before getting the perfect loaf. So when I tried the first time, I was a little skeptical. But even at my first attempt, it turned out so good and rose so tall, I almost jumped with joy. And finally after a few attempts, here I am with the loaf which does not need yeast.
This bread is delicious but it tastes even more delicious with jam or butter spread on it.
I have used whole wheat flour along with all-purpose flour to make it more wholesome. I like to use butter in this bread recipe for buttery flavor. But if you want to use oil, it still tastes good. Rolled oats are optional to sprinkle on the top, it just adds more goodness.
